A new Clinical Skills Performers Quality Assessment Project with Dr. David Virtue, Neis Clinical Skills Laboratory, KUMC begins the summer of 2004. KCMI / HCPP K-12 Director, Marcia Pomeroy recruited YLDC apprentices and coordinated the student orientation in February 2004. J.C. Harmon student, Joseph Ramirez and Summer Academhy student, Jaran Moten were the driving force behind Dr. Virtue's decision to expand the program and develop the CSPQA Project. Joseph and Jaran began their paid positions following the Summer Science Academy Internships, 2003. The new project participants from YLDC will begin their paid positions at the Neis Clinical Skills Laboratory. J.C. Harmon students, Annaliesee Rosales and Kyle Banes, Summer Academy students, Ehi Ighalo, Jonathan Snipes and Omon Ighalo will join Joseph Ramirez and Jaran Moten as the newest participants.
